How to Play

  • Select the value of your chips. The currency will reflect the currency of your account. To select a chip value, click on the chip of the value you require. The following chip values are available: 0.1, 0.5, 1, 5, 25, 100 and 250. By default the 5 chip is selected.
  • Place your chips on the 'Place Bet' betting spot by clicking on it. Each click will place a chip of the selected value on the spot. Different chip values may be used by changing your chip selection.
  • Once you are happy with your selection, click on the Deal button and your bet will be placed.

The dealer draws two cards and places them face up on the table. A Red Dog marker is then placed on the table indicating the spread between the two cards the dealer has drawn.

There are then 3 different scenarios:

Scenario Description
Consecutive Hand When the value of the two cards drawn by the dealer are consecutive (eg, a 3 and a 4) this is called a consecutive hand. In this case, the dealer will not draw a third card, the hand is declared a push and your original wager is returned.
Non-Consecutive Hand When the dealer draws two cards which are not consecutive or the same, this is called a non-consecutive hand. In this case, the dealer will announce the spread between the two drawn cards and place a Red Dog on the table indicating the spread. The spread is number of values that fall between the values of the two cards drawn by the dealer. Eg if the two cards drawn by the dealer were 6 and Jack, the spread is 4 as there are four values between the 6 and Jack (7, 8, 9, & 10).

When the spread is marked by the Red Dog, you have the option to raise your wager, (by the amount of the original wager), by clicking on Raise prior to the dealer drawing the third card. Alternatively, you may stand on your original wager amount by clicking on the Call button. Once you have clicked on Raise or Call the dealer draws a third card.

You win if the value of the third card falls between the value of the two cards originally drawn by the dealer. However, if the third card drawn is the same as either of the first two, the bet loses. There is no push in non-consecutive hands.
Pair Hand / 3 of a Kind A pair hand occurs when the dealer draws two cards of the same value (eg, two Jacks). In this case, the dealer will automatically draw a third card. If the value of the third card is the same as the previous two, you win with a payoff of 11:1. If the value of the third card is different from the previous two, the hand is declared a push and your original wager is returned.

Winning Bets

Below are examples of winning and Push hands. Once the result of a game is determined, any winnings are shown on the table and credited to your account.

Consecutive Hand Example;

In the example below, the two cards drawn by the dealer were consecutive. Therefore, the dealer did not draw a third card, the hand was declared a push and the original wager was returned.

Red Dog Consecutive Hand Example

Non Consecutive Hand Example;

In the example below, the spread between two cards drawn was 5 (ie values 8, 9, 10, J & Q).

Red Dog Non Consecutive Hand Example

The player chose to Raise to raise his wager before the third card was drawn.

Red Dog Non Consecutive Hand Raise Example

The third card drawn was 9. As this was within the spread values and not the same as either of the first two cards drawn, the player's bet won.

Pair Hand Example;

Red Dog Pair Hand Example

The first two cards drawn were the same value, so a third card was drawn. The third card was a different value from the first two cards, so a Push was declared and the player's original wager was returned.

3 of a Kind Example;

Red Dog 3 of a Kind Example

The first two cards drawn were the same value, so a third card was drawn. The third card was the same value as the first two, so the player's bet won.
